🚗 VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED! 🚗

On Monday alone, the Yum Community Pantry and Fridge fed 65 households in our community.

This incredible impact is only possible because of our amazing volunteer drivers who pick up and deliver surplus food. However, the reality is that over the past year, demand for affordable and emergency food has doubled.

We are stretched to our limits and desperately need more pairs of hands (and wheels!) to keep up.

🕒 Can you spare some time?
We are looking for reliable volunteers for surplus food collections from local supermarkets on:

Thursday evenings

Sunday evenings

If you have a car, a valid driving license, and a desire to stop good food from going to waste while helping your neighbors, we want to hear from you! Even volunteering just one evening a month makes a massive difference.

New month, new shop… and what a transformation! 🎉

We’re so excited to finally share our new space with you all. We’ve only moved just around the corner from our old shop, but this one is SO much bigger, giving us more room to support our community, stock more essentials, and make your visits even better ❤️

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us on this journey so far. We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors and show you around!

We’re excited to bring the community together again for a full day of live entertainment, local organisations, market stalls, food vendors and family fun on Armley Moor.

We’re really excited (and a little bit overwhelmed😅) to be moving Yum into a much bigger space.

It’s a huge step for us and means we’ll be able to do so much more for local families, but we can’t quite get there on our own.

We’re currently trying to kit the space out and are on the lookout for some key bits of equipment. If you’ve got any leads, contacts, or know a business making changes, it would genuinely make a big difference.
