YORKSHIRE WOMEN’S REGIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE FINALS 🏆

What a fantastic day at Headingley Stadium on Sunday as Rockingham Colliery Cricket Club took on Rawdon Cricket Club in the Yorkshire Women’s Regional Premier League Final!

A brilliant showcase of women’s cricket, with both sides producing quality performances with bat and ball to give us a final to remember.

Rawdon came out on top, successfully chasing down Rockingham Colliery’s total of 107, with Steph Robinson hitting the winning runs and capping off an outstanding performance by taking home the Player of the Final award. 👏

A huge thank you to Brown & Brown for sponsoring the finals and continuing to support the women’s and girls’ game across Yorkshire.

And thank you to Briggs Priestley for sponsoring the Regional Premier Leagues Trophy and supporting the competition. 🏆

Congratulations to Rawdon, and well done to both teams for a fantastic final! đź‘Ź

It was an unforgettable day at Headingley Stadium last week as Yorkshire’s Visually Impaired Cricket Team were presented with their league trophy during Yorkshire’s final home game of the season. 🏆

During the lunch break, the squad took to the pitch to demonstrate the remarkable skill, focus, and determination required to play VI cricket. Fresh off an impressive 90-run victory against the West Yorkshire Bluebells, the team showed the crowd firsthand how adaptations make the game accessible to all. 🏏

A huge congratulations to the squad on a brilliant season, and thank you for continuing to show that cricket is truly a game for everyone.
