We want to say a huge thank you to our outgoing chair Doreen Ward for her huge commitment to the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival. Doreen became chair in 2006 and has been instrumental in making the festival what it is today - something the whole community can look forward to and enjoy. Without Doreen none of this would have been possible - so we want to thank her for her dedication and hard work over the years.

Despite no longer chairing the festival, we know Doreen will continue to support the festival - but hopefully she can enjoy a well deserved rest first!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Chapel Allerton Arts Festival! Here’s our Chair Rob closing this year’s festival after dodging the showers on another fantastic Sunday of jazz

Thanks so much to everyone who made the festival possible - the wonderful volunteers who contribute so much, our brilliant sponsors, all of the performers on our main stage, on Well Lane and at our Fringe events, stall holders, activity organisers and everyone else working so hard over the last three days. Last but not least thanks to all of you for coming down and making it such a great place to hang out.

See you again next year?

Keep your eyes out for more highlights of this year’s festival over the coming days.
