JazzLeeds are proud to curate the jazz events on behalf of the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival each year. In 2026 these start on Wednesday 2 Sept and run through to Jazz Sunday on Sunday 6 September.

Raquel Alvaro sings music from the great Brazilian music songbook and taking inspiration from the great Brazilian female singers. James Boyes is on tenor sax with the JazzLeeds trio

On Thursday 3 Sept 7.30pm Matt Anderson's Wild Flower Quintet celebrate the 60th anniversary of Wayne Shorter on Blue Note at Seven Arts Leeds
On Saturday 5 Sept 7.30pm (concert) and 3pm (brazilian music workshop) we present Balanço Malandro - come down and enjoy arrangements of classic Brazilian music - you can join in the Roda workshop before as well!
On Sunday afternoon 6 Sept 12.30-6pm we present Jazz Sunday. Every year, Jazz Leeds organises the Jazz Sunday at the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival held in Regent Street, Chapel Allerton LS7 4PE. This year the date is Sunday 6 Sept 2026 between 12.30pm and 6pm.
There is also second stage this year on Sunday 1-5pm in Well Lane a short walk from the main festival stage .
