I know that my Guiding colleagues will be so pleased to hear that we will be in a position to purchase our storage shed. We have so many craft and game activities and items this will be a huge relief for us to keep everything secure for the girls.

We were delighted to support Barwick-in-Elmet Methodist Church recently and pleased to hear our donation and other fundraising efforts meant they couold get the equipment they needed.......

I write on behalf of Barwick Methodist Church who very much appreciates the kind donation from Garforth & District Lions Club to help with our financing and installation of fire safety equipment including legal requirements such as signage indicating escape routes and smoke alarms throughout the premises.

I am pleased to say that with the donation from Garforth & District Lions Club that we have reached our target to fund the installation of the fire safety equipment and have recently had the work completed ensuring the safety of the villagers and many outsiders who come together to enjoy warm fellowship at our regular social events.

A grateful thank you from our Church fellowship to the members of Garforth & District Lions Club for your help in helping us meets these unexpected costs.
