Monthly trad music session, 7-9pm on the first Monday of the month. Everyone welcome to join in or listen (including under 18s)

See you on Monday for the monthly trad music session! 🎶🎵 Starts 7pm at The Beachcomber, Kidston Park, Helensburgh - all ages welcome.
Join in or sit and listen and enjoy some nice food and drinks from the cafe.

And before that, head up to Arrochar as there is a whole weekend of traditional music at the first ever Arrochar Music Festival!
Performances from An Dannsa Dub, Joy Dunlop, Kim Carnie, Eilidh Steel and Mark Neal, Rae and Kisna, steallceol, and Charlie Ferguson. There is a beginner-intermediate fiddle workshop with Eilidh Steel musician, a music & song workshop with Mark Neal Music, an open stage and a kids guising costume competition too.

If you haven't signed up already, don't miss out on learning lots of brilliant local tunes from Nigel Gatherer's Workshops in Strachur, Cowal this Saturday. It's running in association with Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop

A new Mixter Maxter venue in Argyll in association with the Lochgoilhead Fiddle Workshop. The booking will open in a few days.

Just a quick reminder or to let you know, that there is no trad session on on Monday. There's a wee break over August while many people are away but see you at The Beachcomber on Monday 7th of September.

If you are looking for some other trad music events locally, there is an open mic, a ceilidh as well as a concert from Eilidh Steel and Mark Neal happening during August at Cove Burgh Hall. Details on all of these at: https://coveburghhall.org.uk/whats-on/

And if you fancy a trip to Ardrishaig, Nigel Gatherer is running workshops and a session for mixed instruments on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th of August in the Ardrishaig public hall which will be great.
