Garelochhead & Rosneath Peninsula Community First Responders Community First Responders are a vital part of our emergency resource and provide care and support in the community while an ambulance is on its way.

A Community First Responders does not replace the need for an ambulance. We currently have 7 First Responders, trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service. Our First Responders can, if required, carry out CPR. We manage and maintain the 15 public access defibrilators based in Garelochhead and the Rosneath Peninsula. All First Responders are volunteers.
