Cool donation we had in the shop this week. A Belleek Clock! Completely ceramic clock. The price was reduced by us from £45 to £20 because there's no battery, so that's a major discount if you are looking for a fancy clock to display on your fireplace mantel. Or possibly as a gift.

History Books. Our world history goes back thousands of years, with many simultaneous events happening all over in different places. To put it succinctly, there is a LOT of history. We could use a donation of history books, because only through discovering our past, we can envision our future.

If donations are the lifeblood of a charity shop, volunteers are the braincells, muscles, and probably the antibodies too. Y'know, important stuff. So we can never have too many volunteers, with more volunteers we can have everything utterly organised, we can be open every day of the week, and we can have a relief in case one of our other volunteers is off.
It helps your community, it helps the causes, and it helps you get out, learn skills, and meet new people. So consider volunteering for one of our many vacancies, we only ask for a few hours a week!
