Who doesn’t love à comic! We are delighted to support this great idea that came from young people for young people.
Starting on 14th September in the Hub at 116 East Princes Street from 4-5pm.
And I’m sure we will manage to throw in some refreshments for the comic creators….

Help us fulfill Dolly's dream of getting more books into the hands of more children in Helensburgh!
We are a local partner for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which provides a free book every single month for any child aged 0-5 who lives in Helensburgh. As our part of the programme we pay £26 per child per year - we raise money mainly through our BooK Nook sales but you can also help us directly:
Three ways to donate:
(1) Pop into Helensburgh Community Hub with a cash or card donation
(2) Donate via our page on the Imagination Library website - just go onto the website and search for 'Helensburgh Imagination Library' and there is a donation button on there
(3) Play the Argyll Community Lottery and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library at Helensburgh Community Hub as your good cause to support.

September at Helensburgh Community Hub - there's a lot going on!
New for this month are extended opening times in the Book Nook.
Our Tuesday community yoga sessions are back after Stephen's summer break.
And the Friday crafting group would love to see a few new faces.
In addition to our regular activities there is a talk on bird watching for wellness on Thursday 10 September at 7.15pm.

Fancy popping to the Book Nook but can’t get there in the daytime?
Well don’t worry because starting this week we are opening late every first Wednesday of the month. So this Wednesday (Sep 2) we will be open til 7pm.
Plenty of high quality books on everything from sci-fi to sailing - and all at just £1 each. And there are free refreshments while you browse.

Have you seen the Cove Burgh Hall calendar for September? Helensburgh Repair Hub is doing a pop up this Saturday (Sep 5 from 10.30am-12pm) - bring your broken things and our volunteers will try and get them working again.
Refreshments while you wait.
