🧶 Knit and Natter meets Knit for Peace! 🧶

Our Knit and Natter group recently connected with the Bearsden and Milngavie Knit for Peace group as they celebrated their 7th anniversary.

They make and donate knitted items to a variety of organisations, including homeless projects, premature baby units, nurseries and churches.

Members of our group donated some of their work and received wool to knit more items. 🧶❤️

A lovely example of partnership working, which we hope will continue for a long time and help raise the profile of the Annexe.

And the home baking was fantastic! 🍰

Volunteers and Staff enjoyed celebrating together with Afternoon Tea. ☕️🍰🧁
What an incredible afternoon, the event brought volunteers together, some already familiar faces reconnecting and others meeting for the first time.
Thank you for your continued effort and support. We really do appreciate each and every one of you and everything you do in all your varied roles within the Annexe. 🥰
We make a cracking team together and look forward to getting together again soon. 🌈

Fancy trying something new? Come along to 2 FREE taster sessions of our fun movement and exercise sessions, Street to Beat!

📅 Fridays 2nd & 9th October
⏰ 3:30pm – 4:30pm

No dance or exercise experience needed - everyone is welcome! 🙌

The sessions will be led by our apprentice teacher and are a great opportunity to get moving, have fun and try something different in a friendly, relaxed environment.

For the past six years, Annexe Communities has been delivering our social prescribing project with funding from the Scottish Government. It has been one of our most impactful projects, making a real difference to people’s lives in our community.

We are now helping gather views on the future of social prescribing in Scotland, and we would love to hear from you.

Your experiences and views can help shape how social prescribing develops in the future.
