Thank you to the Park Hotel Montrose for a delicious lunch today enjoyed by some of the group. Also a big thank you to Suzanne at Citizens Advise Bureau for the talk after lunch.

🧡 The MS Society Angus Group wants to give a huge shout-out and heartfelt thanks to our volunteer Lyndsey Ferguson and her fantastic friends Paul Kiernan, Hazel Lowe, and David Lowe!

Together, this amazing team took on the Mighty Stride Dundee Kiltwalk and smashed it, raising almost £1,400 for our group!

Every penny raised stays local to help us support people living with Multiple Sclerosis right here in Angus. We are so incredibly grateful for your time, effort, and blister-inducing dedication 🦶🦶. 🧡

🧡The MS Society Angus Group will hold their next outing on Saturday 12th September at the Park Hotel in Montrose, at 12.45 for 1 pm.

Lunch will be followed by a short talk from the Citizens Advise Bureau.

We will have our usual raffle and as always, any donations 🎁 are very much appreciated.

🧡 A massive thank you to one of our MS Society Angus Group volunteers and friends, for taking in the mighty stride Kiltwalk from St. Andrews to Dundee on Sunday 16th August to raise funds for the local group.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our longest-serving members, Anne Villis, who worked tirelessly to support the group over the years. She will be sadly missed. 🧡🧡

𝑽𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒔, 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏
Peacefully, at home with her family by her side, on Thursday, July 9th 2026, Anne, aged 80 years. A loving wife of the late Terry, a devoted mum to Mark and Stuart, a doting granny to Kieran, Emma-Lee and Chloe, a much loved great granny to Ella, a sister of the late Linda, and a dear friend to many. A funeral service and celebration of Anne’s life will be held at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Thursday, July 23rd 2026, at 12.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, will be gratefully received at the crematorium in support of the MS Society and Guide Dogs.
