Brass Tacks turns 40!!

Today (27th September) marks exactly 40 years since the inaugural meeting of Brass Tacks (British Assemblies Tactical Support). Over the last four decades, God has enabled us to complete over 300 projects in around 40 countries across 4 continents, helping to further the spread of the gospel to reach countless people for Christ.

Thank you to all of our supporters who prayerfully and practically partner with us to make this possible. 🙏🙌

The city of Marseille (France's second largest city) is a favourite place for Brass Tacks to work in. During the last two weeks, our team has worked solidly to transform a disused room above a Christian coffee shop to enable the folks there to use it for holding group discussions and Bible studies with people who are seeking to learn more about the Christian faith. Thanks to our wonderful hosts for looking after the team so well. Please pray for safe travels as they return to the UK this weekend.

A Brass Tacks team recently returned from working for two weeks in Moldova. The team have been helping CMIAID to convert a former fire station into a facility for the church to use in the Zirneşti area. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make this transformation possible.

Our team have just completed their time in Varennes-sur-Seine where they have given a huge boost to the folks at Eglise Evangelique Baptiste. The project is significantly closer to its conclusion thanks to Paul, Colin & David's efforts, along with the volunteers from the church. In additon to the hard work completed, the guys managed to take in a short visit to Fontainebleau Chateau, learn to play Petanque, and appreciate some fabulous French cuisine!

We're back in France once again! 🇫🇷 Some of us travelled by ferry and others by aeroplane. We were able to visit a previous project in Douai as we travelled and enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship at Église du Cep, Douai! Then, it was further south to Varennes-sur-Seine, to work with the church there to help create a number of rooms at the back of the building to facilitate childen's and youth ministry. We would value your prayers as we work here for the next two weeks. Interestingly, the church building used to be a Fiat car showroom!

God is clearly on the move in France! 🇫🇷 Our team has been able to help several churches expand their church facilities with extensive building works in the last year or so. We have now arrived in the city of Limoges and are helping https://www.epelimoges.fr/ to convert a former travel agency into a church facility! Please pray for our team who are working in temperatures of c. 35 degrees celsius, that they might be given the ability to work effectively and see this project completed soon. As well as working hard, the team have also taken in some of the local sights, including the famous railway station.

Folllowing on from the great work done by our first team in April, our second team are hard at work back in Grenoble where they are helping to renovate the church building for the upcoming summer months. The team were also delighted to have a relaxing Saturday afternoon's walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside. We truly value your prayers as we continue to "serve those who serve".
