Santa! We know him 🎅 and we're giving you and your family the chance to travel from Edinburgh to Lapland to meet him, and raise funds for Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh at the same time.

Take part in our Lapland raffle to experience a magical day in Finnish Lapland this December with your family. The winner will meet Santa, his reindeer and the elves in their arctic homeland.

1 raffle entry is £10 each, and you can enter as many times as you wish.*

Money raised will support the Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh (FACE) Fund. FACE is an NHS Lothian Charity Cancer Fund, providing the little things which can make a real difference for people undergoing treatment for cancer and their families.

The draw closes on the 28th of October, 2026 and will be drawn on the 2nd of November, 2026 at 1:30pm.

Kiltwalk Edinburgh this weekend guys 👏

A special shout out to Nik Mackenzie and 'Team Babs' for taking part in the Kiltwalk this weekend to raise funds for FACE.

Here is a link to Nik's story and we last heard there was around 70 people in 'Team Babs', walking in memory of Nik's wife Babs. A wonderful tribute to her and we wish Nik & everyone in 'Team Babs' all the best on the day.

A massive thank you to the Rotary Club of North Berwick for their kind donation of a bench that has been placed in Amanda's Garden at the Western General Hospital.

They gave this donation directly to our Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh fund and it will be used by many staff, patients and visitors to take some time to themselves and reflect in one of our green areas.

Kiltwalk – The ‘Breaking Baddies’

A big well done to all those who have walked the Kiltwalk in aid of FACE. A big thank you to the Breaking Baddies team - Jennifer and Suzanne for already taking part in the Kiltwalk Glasgow, and Claire and Caroline will take on all 4 Kiltwalks this year! Good luck to them both as they embark on their fourth and final Kiltwalk of the year in Edinburgh.

We're looking for a choir or singing group to help us spread some Christmas cheer at our FACE Winter Fair on Saturday 28th November 2026 at Royston and Wardieburn Community Centre EH5

The fair is from 11am - 3pm and we're looking for some festive entertainment for an hour approx 12noon -1pm while people shop and enjoy the cafe. Sing-a-longs and flash mobs welcome!

FACE are part of NHS Lothian Charity, and money we raise helps go towards the little things that make a big difference to people with cancer and their families in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

A big thank you to our friends at Dentons Edinburgh for their unwavering commitment and support during our two year partnership, supporting people with cancer and their families. We have seen them walk, run, quiz, paint, volunteer and much more!

Well done to their team who raised an incredible £24,358.96 for FACE.

Laura Morrison, Managing Practice Development Lawyer said: Over the past two years it has been a privilege to support FACE and the invaluable work they do for cancer patients and their families across the city. Our team has been proud to contribute to their fundraising efforts, and we were especially pleased to send a team of volunteers to volunteer for a day in the FACE garden at the Western General Hospital, seeing first-hand the care and dedication that goes into creating a welcoming space for patients, families and staff.
