🚐 Could you spare a morning or afternoon each week to make a difference? ❤️

At Pilton Equalities Project (PEP), our community transport service helps older and vulnerable people stay connected to their community, attend activities, meet friends and maintain their independence.

We’re looking for Volunteer Drivers to join our friendly team.

You don’t need to commit to every day — even one morning or afternoon a week could make a real difference.

You’ll be doing more than driving a minibus. You’ll be helping someone get out of the house, see friends, access services and feel part of their community. 🚌💙

If you have a full driving licence, enjoy meeting people and want to give something back to your local community, we’d love to hear from you.

🌿 Help Us Bring Our Community Garden Back to Life 🌿
At Pilton Equalities Project (PEP), we're committed to transforming the community garden adjacent to the PEP Centre on West Pilton Park into a welcoming, safe and accessible space for people to enjoy.
We're incredibly grateful to Edinburgh's Community Payback Scheme, whose team has been working hard to help clear the site and remove years of waste. Their support has been invaluable in helping us take the first steps towards restoring this much-loved community space.
Sadly, persistent fly tipping continues to be a major problem and has left parts of the garden unusable. We are determined to improve this area, but we can't do it alone.
We need the support of our local community to help protect and care for this shared space.
If you witness someone fly tipping:
🚫 Please do not approach them.
📸 If it is safe to do so, take a photo and note the vehicle registration and any identifying details.
📞 Report the incident to Police Scotland on 101. 📝 Also report it to The City of Edinburgh Council.
Together, we can create a cleaner, greener and safer community for everyone. Thank you to everyone who is already supporting this project—and especially to Edinburgh's Community Payback Scheme for helping us reclaim this important space.

What a fantastic day at our PEP Summer BBQ 2026 🌭🍔🌼
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it an fantastic day. It was great to see so many people enjoying great food, laughter and friendship in the sunshine.
Thank you Jim the Magician for keeping us all entertained 🎩🪄
Days like these remind us what PEP is all about – bringing people together, reducing isolation and making lasting memories.
A big thank you to our amazing staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. We couldn't have done it without you!
Here's to many more days of friendship, fun, and community spirit. 💙
