Next week's Drylaw Walking Group walk will be to Dean Village where we will walk around the wee picturesque streets, admiring the old architecture and flower arrangements in the village.
We'll take a picnic and find a nice bench to sit and enjoy together.
This will be wheelchair friendly, as we will aim to avoid all the steps.

Last Monday 15th June we visited Cammo House and the Estate with a visit to the Walled Garden where the were digging out the old hot house boiler room. It was fascinating to see the old brickwork where the boiler room was housed that provided heat for the greenhouses. Apparently the landowners used to grow peaches, apricots etc here.
The old Cammo House burned down in the 1970's after it was left to deteriorate mid 20th C.
