Our field volunteers Maggie Tookey and Clea Friend have recently returned from Ukraine, where they helped distribute life-saving tourniquet kits to trained civilians. The kits were funded through the efforts of EDA volunteers Brian, Ross and John.
They also delivered food and water to communities trapped near the front line, helped evacuate civilians, and visited projects sustained by your donations - including sensory rooms for people affected by trauma and a bakery providing food to those in need.
Maggie and Clea emphasise that this work is only possible because of the courage and dedication of our Ukrainian partners, X-Traverse and Volunteerska.
