an intimate, poignant look at the Ukrainian war through the eyes of a director and mother who takes up arms. as the battle intensifies, a missile disrupts the fragile calm, exposing the stark realities of conflict. blending the perspectives of a soldier and a filmmaker, the documentary portrays the often-overlooked emotional landscape of war as love letters to her son. with gripping footage and personal reflections, it reveals the resilience and humanity that persist amid chaos on the front lines

together with Polina Moshenska and The Grassmarket Community Picture House we are excited to announce our next event: screening of “2000 Meters to Andriivka” - a film by Mstyslav Chernov

2000 METERS TO ANDRIIVKA documents the toll of the russian war from a personal and devastating vantage point. following his historic account of the civilian toll in Mariupol, Mstyslav Chernov turns his lens towards Ukrainian soldiers - who they are, where they came from, and the impossible decisions they face in the trenches as they fight for every inch of their land.

what a great night we had on 11/12, it was a great pleasure seeing everyone who came to support us for the last time this year!

emourmous thank you to all the fantastic DJs who performed with us! .w
everyone absolutely loved you and you can count as in as huge fans from now on ;)

we are grateful to - our VJ, who not only showcased amazing visuals but also helped out with the set up and was very supportive towards this event

we also want to say thank you to our volunteers! you guys totally saved the night with your presence and hard work

and separate thanks to incredible venue , who were taking care of this night professionally and helped run it extremely smoothly

additionally we want to thank .bls and .sorrows for creating and contributing the artworks for this event, the venue looks great and full of bRAVE spirit

and, ofcourse, these lovely pictures were taken by our lovely ! thank you so much for your presence, huge support and remarkable talent

Jo-Hann .w is a Glasgow-based producer and DJ, influenced by the darker sounds of UK Dubstep, Techno, Breakbeat and Electro. A Jazz drummer and multi-instrumentalist, his work is driven by a strong focus on rhythm, often incorporating live instrumentation into experimental tracks and performances. With releases on the likes of Bristol’s Exodus Records, expect a blend of original tunes and diverse club selections. He is also the co-founder of emergent Glasgow club night, Break-Away.
