Thank you to everyone who joined us last night! It was brilliant to be back at Leith Arches to kick off the next series of our Born To Be Wide panel evenings.

Chef (Elements HQ), Frankie Elyse (Polka Dot Disco Club), Jamie Thompson (SMC Presents ) and Jemima Fasakin (Baile/Baile) shared valuable insights into the vital role Scotland’s independent promoters play in supporting and sustaining the grassroots music scene, sparking some great conversations throughout the evening.

On Wednesday 23 September, we’re at Leith Arches for a discussion on the role of Scotland’s independent promoters in sustaining the grassroots music scene.

The panel will look at how promoters discover, champion and nurture emerging artists, create spaces for new talent to grow, and help shape the future of Scotland’s music industry.

It’s HebCelt Festival this weekend! ⛺️🌿

We’re revisiting one of our Born To Be Wide discussions on the future of independent festivals. Artist Programmer and Director of HebCelt Michelle Shields joined Chris Knight (Kelburn Garden Party), Katch Holmes (Knockengorroch) and Megan Evans (Deer Shed Festival) to explore how independent festivals support emerging artists, make programming decisions, and continue to innovate in an evolving live music landscape.
