🎉🚌 Our Youth Club Trip!🎳💙

What an amazing time we had on our very first youth club trip! And what better way to kick things off than with a trip to ten-pin bowling in our brand-new minibus!🚐🎳

The young people had a fantastic time, enjoying lots of laughs, friendly competition and making some brilliant memories together. It was great to see everyone getting involved and having so much fun! 😄🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our first trip possible. This is just the beginning of many more adventures, exciting trips and unforgettable memories to come!

Here's to many more miles in our new minibus and lots more fun along the way!🚐✨

Good morning Magdalene! 🧡
Did you know… these are the values behind MAGDALENE:CC?
Everything we do at the Centre — from children’s and youth work to community groups, events and childcare — should come back to five simple values:
🧡 Respect — we value every person
👥 Responsibility — we take ownership
⚙️ Resilience — we keep going
🕒 Reliability — we do what we say
🤝 Support — we are here for each other
They’re not just words for a poster. They’re the standard we want to set for how we treat people, how we work together and what kind of Community Centre we want Magdalene to be.
And alongside those values are the things that matter to us: community, safety, belonging, participation, choice and opportunity.
Because this is more than a building.

Good morning Magdalene! 🧡
Did you know… MAGDALENE:CC is run by local people, for local people?
MAGDALENE:CC SCIO is a registered Scottish charity, and the people making decisions about the Centre are members of our own community.
Our Management Committee helps shape what happens here, supports the staff and volunteers, plans for the future and makes sure the Centre keeps responding to what local people actually need.
That’s why “It’s Our Centre” isn’t just a slogan — it’s how we want the Centre to work.
Over the next few Saturdays, we’ll share a little more about how the Centre works, who’s involved and the different ways local people can be part of it.
