The Daily Project Summer Playscheme is launching on Monday 29th June 2026 at Magdalene Community Centre! 🎉

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a summer packed with:

🕘 Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 4:30pm
💷 £35 Full Day | £20 Half Day
🚌 Transport support available in some circumstances

Our team will provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can play, learn, make friends and enjoy their summer holidays.

MAGDALENE:CC SCIO is working with the E.P.L.C.C.C (Edinburgh Parent Led Child Care Consortium) to bring you a new after school child care provision, ‘The Daily Project’ based in the Magdalene Community Centre. We aim to provide a safe environment that the children attending can thrive in with a wide variety of fun activities, games and sports.
Our goal is to give the children that attend the freedom to choose what they want to do whilst nurturing and developing the responsibilities of looking after themselves, being kind to others, treating staff and each other with respect and caring for the materials/equipment available to them.
We believe it is important for children to be exposed to different hobbies, where it be sports, technology, board games, group games and outdoor activities so they can find out what their true interests are and possibly take further interest in.
Our staff team aim to give the attending children the best experience they can during our after-school club and holiday camps, by being friendly and approachable, an ear to listen to and setting up unique and interesting activities. We want our children who attend to feel heard, safe and comfortable with expressing themselves in our setting.

A relaxed afternoon group with tea, chat, knitting/crafts and good company.

The centre is also being used by the high school during the afternoon until 3pm.

D&D • Warhammer • Kill Team • board games • painting • chat
Adults welcome — bring your own stuff or use what we have here.

This group helps shape bigger projects and activities together—from 🏹 archery courses to the possibility of 🐉 D&D campaigns, tabletop gaming and more 🙌

🎯 AD Club is BACK tomorrow! 🎯

🕛 Sunday 10th May
⏰ 12–2pm
📍 Magdalene Community Centre

AD Club is a bit different from our other youth clubs 👀

Rather than just doing random activities week-to-week, this group often works on a bigger project or “term arc” together 💯

Last term we ran an 🏹 Archery Course
…and now people have been asking about starting a 🐉 Dungeons & Dragons campaign for young people!

This club is the perfect place for that kind of thing 🙌

We could also run:
🎯 Another archery course
🎲 D&D campaign
🎨 Creative projects
⚔️ Tabletop gaming
…and more

BUT 👇
We need to know there’s enough interest from young people to make these things happen.

So if this sounds like your kind of thing—come along tomorrow and help shape what the club becomes 💛
