Dr Sam Hughes asked people with chronic pain what parts of nature helped them

‘What we thought was the right thing was often wrong. People refer to forest bathing and things like that. But our focus group said, well, actually forests aren’t really where I want to spend my time, they go against what I would consider as restorative, even providing a threatening environment for my condition’

Whether you want to boost your wellbeing, get in shape, test yourself, or bond with friends on an active adventure, Ultra Challenge events are for EVERYONE, with full support all the way.

Expect rest stops with food & drink, medics, massage, and incredible camaraderie. Walk, jog or run. Your challenge, your way.

If you're living with persistent pain, you're not alone - support is available.

Join one of our free in-person Pain Education Session in Ardrossan Library to learn how to better understand and manage your pain in everyday life.

Our sessions are relaxed, participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable
