Welcome to Craigmillar Now, a community-led arts and heritage organisation rooted in the heart of Craigmillar. Based in a beautifully-restored 19th-century former church beside Fort Kinnaird Retail Park (58 Newcraighall Road, Edinburgh), we’ve transformed the space into a vibrant cultural centre for the Greater Craigmillar community. At our core is a public archive, the home of the Craigmillar Archives, preserving decades of local history, photographs, and stories, including the legacy of the former Craigmillar Festival Society. We run a year-round programme of creative and community-focused activities: exhibitions, workshops, artist residencies, events, and volunteer opportunities , open to all ages and backgrounds. Whether you want to explore the area’s heritage, try your hand at photography or visual arts, get involved as a volunteer, or simply join in events and community gatherings, Craigmillar Now is for you.
