Here’s how his overland route looks:

Peak District ➔ London ➔ Paris via Eurostar
Paris ➔ Lyon via TGV
Lyon ➔ Annecy ➔ Chamonix via bus

Transport is a major force behind climate change and the largest contributor to outdoor sports’ carbon footprint. Seeing Alliance members like Tom walk the talk (and ride the rails) to major mountain events is exactly how we shift the culture.

A massive GOOD LUCK to POW UK ambassadors Poppy Collingwood and Tom Yiangou as they gear up for the UTMB World Series finals! 🏔️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are so stoked to see them both take on the trails at such a legendary event.

A quick shoutout to Tom’s travel plans, too - he set off today, making his way from Hathersage in the Peak District all the way to Chamonix by train to keep his race-week emissions low! 🚆🌍
