As the evenings grow darker, preparations are underway for our favourite time of the year at The Argory.

🎄Our much-loved Christmas Fair returns this festive season!🎄

Step inside one of the most enchanting Christmas market experiences of the year. The timeless festive decorations and twinkling fairy lights throughout the house provide the perfect backdrop to a weekend of seasonal shopping.🎁

Savour seasonal delights and explore a wide range of local craft and food stalls as well as unique gifts – the atmosphere in the house will be as magical as ever. 🔔

Enjoy entertainment for the whole family and don’t forget to visit Santa and his elves in the grotto for an unforgettable festive experience! 🎅

📅Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2026, 11am-5pm

🎟️The event is free – regular admission fees apply for the venue and there is an additional charge for Santa

Visitor notice 📣

Following post-storm safety checks, The Argory and Springhill will be open as normal today. Both properties will be fully open throughout the half-term week, including the houses and The Kitch Café at The Argory. ✅

⚠️ Please note that a large tree is currently blocking access to The Argory from the Moy direction, so visitors may need to use an alternative route.

☕ The Kitch Café is operating with a reduced menu and may close earlier than usual.

We look forward to welcoming everyone this half-term week.

Due to high winds forecast from Storm Boelo over the weekend, The Argory, Springhill and Ardress will be closed on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. Please check our websites and socials for updates before travelling.

Come explore the grounds this half term and stay for a visit to the house, enjoy a hot chocolate in the café, or pick up a new read from the bookshop.

Our clock tower is getting a fresh new look! Work has begun on its restoration, starting with a fresh coat of paint and marking the first step in bringing this iconic feature back to its full glory.🖌️

Visiting for Apple Sundays at Ardress? 🍎The orchard is just the beginning!

Ardress House, a charming 17th-century farmhouse, sits among apple orchards, peaceful woodland and scenic riverside walks just waiting to be explored. 🍂

After trying traditional apple pressing and browsing the craft stalls, history lovers can step inside the house on a guided tour and uncover the stories behind its traditional farmyard.

There’s something for the outdoorsy types too! Stroll the Lady's Mile, a tranquil woodland walk lined with trees planted in the 1800s. Along the way, enjoy views of the farmhouse and its orchard, and keep an eye out for a magnificent Irish yew tree that's over 200 years old.🌲

With so many ways to enjoy the season, make a day of it at Apple Sundays!🍏
