🎅 Dear Santa…

This year, as part of our Christmas appeal, we asked some of the children who use our services what they would like from Santa. We are setting up a wishing tree
We reminded them that Santa has lots and lots of children to visit, so they needed to think carefully about their wishes.
I don't think we were quite prepared for some of the answers. 💔

Two little sisters said they wanted Santa to make their mummy better.
A little girl, aged 7, said:�"Santa isn't coming. He didn't come last year. But he's going to my friend's house." 😢

A little boy, aged 5, asked for a new pair of shoes for school.

An 8-year-old boy wished he could play outside.

And a little girl, aged 11, simply asked for Christmas dinner.

These aren't the Christmas wish lists we expect to hear. No expensive toys, no gadgets, no big extravagant wishes.
Just a child wanting their mummy to be well.�A child wanting to believe in Santa.�A pair of shoes for school.�The freedom to play outside.�And a Christmas dinner.
This is the reality for some families in our own communities.

💚 A HUGE thank you to our local SPAR! Eurospar Ranfurly. Dungannon 💚

We’re absolutely delighted that our local SPAR has chosen our charity Me You and Them to support with food and goodies! 🛍️❤️

The lovely team took the time to meet with our manager at For You NI Online Jazzy, and our volunteer, Luana, to chat about the difference this fantastic support will make to our local community.🙏🏼

Every bit of support makes a real difference, helping us continue to support local people and families when they need it most. 🫶

We’re so grateful to the whole SPAR team for thinking of us and getting behind what we do. It’s wonderful to see local businesses supporting local charities and helping our community thrive! 🏡💚

Something scarily exciting is happening at For You Portadown 🎃

We’re delighted to announce we’re having the amazing Mollie at Fun Faces Facepainting join us to treat our customers and their little terrors to some face painting fun!

Shop around while your littles get in the Halloween spirit or come and show your support and experience Gareth in a wacky costume, we’d love to see you all there!

As a registered charity, our mission is to promote positive mental health, improve wellbeing and support families who may need a helping hand along the way.

Through a range of activities, support and community initiatives, we hope to make a real difference to individuals and families in our community.

🤝 For You - Portadown , alongside For You NI Online Dungannon and Me You and Them, will work hand in hand with our local community to build connections, create opportunities and remind people that nobody should have to face life's challenges alone.

This is about more than opening a service. It's about opening doors, creating hope and making sure people know there is support available when they need it most. 💚
