📢 Reminder: Young People's Survey Still Open! 📢

A quick reminder that the Young Women's Network survey is still open, and we're keen to hear from more young people aged 12-25 from across Dumfries and Galloway.

We've had a fantastic response so far, with lots of young people sharing their views, but we'd love to hear from even more voices before the survey closes.

✅ Open to everyone, not just girls
✅ Ages 12-25
✅ Takes just a few minutes to complete
✅ Helps us understand the experiences and views of young people across the region

We're particularly keen to get responses from a wider range of communities across Dumfries and Galloway to ensure everyone's voice is represented.

The survey closes on 11 September, with the Young Women's Network using the findings to explore the results in more detail the following day.

Please complete the survey and share it with any young people who may be interested. Your views matter and will help shape future work and priorities.

🎙️ Join Chelsay as she sits down with Youth Beatz headliner, Example!

Recorded during this summer's Youth Beatz Festival, Chelsay caught up with Example to talk about his incredible music career, the advice he'd give to his younger self, what inspires him, and why it's so important to support opportunities for young people through events like Youth Beatz.

The Youth Enquiry Service Podcast group worked incredibly hard leading up to the festival, developing their interviewing and podcasting skills and creating brilliant content throughout the weekend. They should be immensely proud of what they achieved.

💷👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Could Your Family Be Missing Out on Financial Support? 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💷

Families across Dumfries & Galloway are being encouraged to check whether they are eligible for a range of financial support available to help with the cost of raising children and preparing for school.

Support may be available through:
✅ Free School Meals
✅ Free School Clothing Grants
✅ Holiday Food Fund Payments
✅ Scottish Child Payment

For eligible families, these payments and grants can make a significant difference by helping with everyday costs, school expenses and household budgets.

Please note: if you already receive a payment or grant, you do not need to apply again for that specific support. However, you may still be eligible for other payments listed.
