Tonight we all walk in memory of lost lives in our community. We will walk along a typical Street Angels patrol route as we walk to remember.

🎉 WOW. Alpha Omega Women Peace & Security Foundation is FIVE today! 🎉

There is something incredibly special about reaching a milestone like this.

When you have a vision, sometimes the most important thing you can do is simply start.

Five years ago, the founders of Alpha Omega WPS had a vision for what this organisation could become. They could have imagined the programmes, the people, the partnerships and the communities we would reach.

But dreaming about something and watching it become reality are two very different things.

Five years later, seeing what Alpha Omega WPS has grown into is genuinely incredible. 💜

From supporting women and girls, to Street Angels, self-defence programmes, wellbeing initiatives, business and skills training, migrant support, community events, our boys’ cooking programme, Afro-Cheshire Festival, our educational work and so much more — the work continues to grow.

And every day, we are grateful for the spaces we get to create, the communities we get to support and, most importantly, the wonderful people who make this work possible.

We are so grateful to every volunteer, supporter, partner, member and community champion who has walked with us over the past five years.

✨ Read this month’s newsletter to take a look back at five years of Alpha Omega WPS — the work, the milestones and the wonderful people behind the organisation.

Here’s to five years, here’s to the next five and may the work we do continue to grow, multiply and reach even more people. 💜

You're not alone ❤️❤️

Join us as we come together to honour and remember lives lost to mental health struggles and nighttime tragedies at our candlelight memorial walk taking place in Nantwich.

This memorial walk was inspired by the powerful experiences and realities witnessed through our Street Angels Patrols, where we have encountered individuals facing isolation, vulnerability, and crisis on our streets at night.

This evening of remembrance is an opportunity to stand united, reflect, and shine a light on the importance of compassion, support, and hope within our communities.

You can also walk in memory of a loved one.

Together, we remember. Together, we raise awareness. Together, we ensure that no life is forgotten.
