Standing together in solidarity and love has never been more important than now.

We have been deeply saddened and dismayed by the recent racist and anti-migrant violent demonstrations that took place in Northern Ireland.

Fear and division can never build a future; only understanding and unity can.

This is precisely why events like the Cheshire AfroFest are so vital.
AfroFest is not just a celebration of rich culture, music, and heritage; it is an intentional space built for connection. It is an invitation to every member of our community to step forward, learn from one another, and break down the barriers of prejudice. It is an event designed to build bridges where others try to build walls, reminding us that our diversity is our greatest strength.

We refuse to let fear dictate our narrative. We choose community. We choose inclusion. We choose to stand hand-in-hand with our migrant and minoritized communities, ensuring that everyone feels safe, valued, and at home.

Let’s respond to divisiveness by showing up for one another. Join us in celebrating unity, building bridges, and proving that love and community will always win.
