This month, we were welcomed to Phoenix House Recovery Centre in the North East to teach the Cerco Fast Track intense 5 Day Course. Phoenix House has a crucial role in preparing military leavers for the transition back to Civilian life. Today, We have a new group of students taking the Fast-Track course. The intensive 5 day course will prepare the students for Entry Level IT and is delivered by our training team at the Academy which is based in Crewe.

Our fast track students has had an intense week and has managed to survive the information overload, our trainer has done an amazing job preparing these entry level technicians to both the students and the training team Well Done. The Alumni will join our online community, that offers support and help with the next steps of their career.

Informative Thursday

Today’s topic for discussion is how important is customer service within the IT industry? And how do we as professionals ensure that the customer is satisfied with our service?

Our Junior IT instructor Debbie believes that excellent customer service is important part of any industry, but faults in IT can often cause many stressful responses. Making sure that you are dressed in the appropriate work clothing, being polite and taking the time to find out all the information regarding the issue will often put customers at ease and increase the satisfaction overall.

Woo Hoo its Wednesday!

Finally middle of the Week! The students are learning the basics about networking today and will be learning how to add an RJ45 connector to a patch cable. We would like to share with you our two most important words that our students must learn to use when talking about networks. They are Attenuation and Redundancy. The question is what do they mean? which one is good/bad? and why?
