Today we’re saying a massive thank you to the White Lion team and everyone that attended the brilliant bingo night this Thursday! 💜

Their efforts raised an amazing £1110 for Jon Shaw Foundation 🌟

Education, Awareness and real support for those living with epilepsy would be a good start by the leaders of this country. How many more young people, how many more years of campaigning by bereaved families, small charities etc. will it take for the Health department to sit up listen and DO SOMETHING about this. Enough talking and platitudes. Nearly 7 years since Jon died due of epilepsy (SUDEP) and NOTHING has changed.

Today, the inquest concluded into the death of Megan Gardiner. Megan was 17 weeks pregnant when she died in June 2022 of SUDEP – Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. She was just 25. This inquest conclusion comes after a long and gruelling four-year fight for the family.

Huge congratulations to our runners Alice & Christine for completing the TCS London Marathon! 🏃‍♀️🎉

Not only is this an incredible personal achievement, but they’ve also raised an amazing £1,500 and £2079.63 respectively for Jon Shaw Foundation.

We’re SO grateful for your dedication and effort, it truly makes a huge difference to the families we support.
