We’ve never done anything quite like this on this scale, and we’re incredibly proud of what’s been created by Claire & Victoria 🥰

But ultimately, this is about so much more than one incredible evening.

It’s about what every pound raised can make possible.

Our Meals & Welfare service is just one example of the many services we provide, putting the needs of older people in our communities right at the heart of what we do.

As the cost of living continues to put pressure on household finances, our team still turns up at the door with a hot, nutritious meal, a friendly face, and a little comfort and reassurance.

For some people, that knock on the door is one of the most important moments of their day, and can be the difference between eating or heating.

Our October Let’s Get Social Thursdays are packed with fun, friendship, music, laughs and plenty of reasons to get out, get together and have a great night in a safe, friendly environment. 🥳

A huge thank you to Barlows UK Ltd for donating an incredibly generous auction prize for this year’s Fire & Ice Charity Ball. 🔥❄️

We’re keeping the full details under wraps until the big night, but let’s just say… if you enjoy golf, this is one auction lot you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on. ⛳

It’s an amazing experience and we’re so grateful to Barlows for their generosity and support.

✨ VIP VISIT | LIGHTS, LAUGHTER & A LITTLE PANTO MAGIC! ✨

We were delighted to welcome the fabulous Su Pollard, best known for her much-loved role as Peggy in Hi-de-Hi! to The George’s Community Hub! 💜

Su joined us for afternoon tea with our Supported Adults (SAS), spending time with the people we support and getting to know our brilliant team.

The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, wonderful photo opportunities and plenty of fun. Su was absolutely wonderful, bringing so much warmth and energy to the occasion. ❤️

A huge thank you to Leanne at Crewe Lyceum Theatre for collaborating with us and helping to make this special visit possible. You’ve helped us create some very happy memories!

And a special shout-out to my amazing team, Deb, Gez and Lindsay, who pulled together brilliantly behind the scenes. From buttering bread to homemade sausage rolls and delicious homemade scones, every little detail was part of the jigsaw. 🥪🧁💜 I couldn’t be prouder of them and the way they supported the day, making everything run so smoothly.

For the past three years, Wishing Well has been fortunate to enjoy the Crewe Lyceum’s relaxed panto performance, made possible through the fantastic collaboration between Crewe Lyceum and Baywater Healthcare. It’s a wonderful example of how businesses can come together to create special experiences for the community. 🎭✨

We’re hoping to continue that tradition this year and, if the opportunity allows, we get to see Su take centre stage in Sleeping Beauty at Crewe Lyceum.

What an afternoon! Great company, great food and a few “Hello campers!” 🤣

What a difference a day makes! 🙌

A huge thank you to the fantastic Network Rail team for spending the day with us at The George’s Community Hub, getting stuck in and making a real difference both inside and out.

It’s not just about keeping up appearances. Looking after our environment is about maintaining and sustaining a high-quality, welcoming community hub that feels warm, safe and valued by everyone who uses it.

The makeover of one of our internal rooms is also an important step towards the next stage of an exciting project taking shape with our Supported Adult Service. With funding support from Crewe Town Council, we’re now able to start moving this work forward. It’s very much work in progress, but this room is an important piece of the bigger picture, and we couldn’t do it without support. 💜

This is what business partnership and social value can look like in action. Businesses bringing their people, time and skills into our communities can make a tangible difference.
