Could you be the heartbeat of our Recovery Centre?

We're looking for a Recovery and Aftercare Administrator to join the Recovery Cymru team. This isn't just an admin job. It's a chance to be part of something that genuinely changes lives every single day.

You'll be the warm face people see when they walk through our door, the steady presence keeping our peer support community running, and a vital part of the CAVDAS Alliance serving Cardiff and the Vale.

Closing date: Midday, Wednesday 17th June 2026

If you are organised, compassionate, and believe in the power of community, we would love to hear from you. Lived experience of recovery is welcomed.

Peer support works best when the people doing it have space to connect too.

Our next Co-Reflection Session is for peer workers across Cardiff and the Vale who want time to share ideas, reflect on practice, and talk with others who understand lived experience work from the inside.

It’s a chance to step out of the day-to-day, meet others in the peer workforce, and help shape stronger peer support across our communities.

Wales has been doing its best impression of the Mediterranean this week and frankly we are done with it.

The good news is that the temperatures are dropping just in time for the weekend, so we are taking the Recovery Cymru community to Cosmeston Lakes Country Park in Penarth on Saturday. Lakes, swans, woodland walks, a cafe, and air you can actually breathe without feeling like you are standing in an oven. Bliss.

This one is for our members, supporters, volunteers and anyone connected to Recovery Cymru. Come along, have a wander, say hello to some ducks, and spend time with good people.

Life is busy. Travel isn't always easy. And reaching out can feel like a big step.

That's exactly why we've built Recovery Cymru around you. Phone, online, one-to-one, groups, social activities, or just drop in during our opening hours. Whatever works for you, works for us.

We're open every single day of the year and aim to get back to you within 24 to 48 hours, because we know that when you're ready, waiting isn't an option.

However you get in touch, it's always free, always confidential, and always non-judgemental. No exceptions.

Ready when you are. Refer yourself, or if you're a GP, organisation or professional, you can refer on someone else's behalf.

Members - join us at the centre this Friday for our weekly Community Activity group!

We will be joined by Rob Palmer. Based on his own recovery, Rob created a 9-week structured breathwork programme called Breath 2 Success.

Rob has kindly offered to run 3 sessions for free at Recovery Cymru on Friday 22nd & 29th May and 5th June between 12:30pm - 2.30pm.

These breathing exercises and grounding techniques can help regulate stress, improve mental health, and build long-term resilience.

Rob says
"I believe that giving my all to the power of Conscious Connected Breathwork saved my life, and now I am on a mission to help others who face similar challenges overcome theirs."

No booking required. We hope to see you soon. 💜
