There's something lovely about seeing people find their feet again.

It might start with a chat over a cuppa, meeting someone who understands, or finding the confidence to come along to a group. Before long, there are new friendships, things to look forward to and people looking out for each other.

We see how closely mental health and recovery from alcohol and other drug use are connected, and we're really pleased to share this finding from our upcoming annual report.

This World Mental Health Day, we're thinking about all the people who make our little recovery community what it is, and the difference that being part of it can make.

Dementia Friendly Barry is joining us for our next Insight Session on Wednesday 28th October to help us understand what dementia can look like, how it can affect everyday life and what support is available locally.
