💚 Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day!

Our staff at Cerebral Palsy Cymru wore green today, the colour of cerebral palsy awareness, to show our support.

World Cerebral Palsy Day brings people around the world together to celebrate and support people with cerebral palsy, embrace diversity and work towards a more accessible and inclusive future for everyone.

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood worldwide. Here in Wales, it’s estimated that every five days, a baby is born who will have cerebral palsy.

With just over a week to go, the British Horseracing Authority has confirmed that Ffos Las will host an all-Chase fixture on Wednesday 14th October, with prestigious races transferred from the Welsh Festival of Racing at Chepstow.

And that’s not all! Your ticket includes:

Reduced from £130. Available if you’ve accessed our service within the last 12 months, or if your child has recently graduated from our Better Start, Better Future programme.

✨ We’re thrilled to announce another very special guest for our Better Start Lunch! ✨

We can now reveal that Liz Johnson, one of Britain’s most accomplished Paralympic swimmers, will be joining Olivia Breen on stage for an exciting Q&A session. 🎤

Liz is a Paralympic gold medallist, multiple World and European Champion and a hugely respected voice in disability sport. Alongside Olivia, she’ll be sharing stories from her incredible sporting career, talking about finding your passion, overcoming challenges and the power of opportunity.

With two remarkable Paralympic athletes coming together on stage, this promises to be a very special conversation and one we can’t wait to hear!
