We’re hiring: Director of Development & Communications

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser and communications leader to join Forget-me-not Chorus in this senior role.

In this post, you'll drive our established development and communications work, building on our existing fundraising strategy, relationships and funding programme, and helping to secure the long-term sustainability of our work.

You’ll oversee our annual fundraising programme while leading our communications strategy to help even more people understand the joy, connection, and impact of our singing sessions.

If you bring strong relationship-building skills, excellent proposal writing, and a passion for supporting people living with dementia and their families, we’d love to hear from you.

📍 Location: Home-based in South Wales (with fortnightly team meetings in Cardiff)

⏰ Hours: 30 hours per week (Permanent)

💼 Salary: Competitive Director-level salary (pro rata) - see job info for details

📅 Closing date: 9am, Monday 16th November

Last week, the local policing team stopped by our Llanelli choir for a chat while out on the beat.

Moments like these help strengthen local connections, and show us that our choirs are part of the wider community.

On Sunday 4th October, Team FMNC laced up their running shoes and proudly donned their FMNC T-shirts as they took on the 2026 Cardiff Half Marathon.

Thanks to their hard work, training and determination, and the generosity of everyone who sponsored them, they've raised just over £6,000, which will help us continue bringing the joy of song to people living with and alongside dementia.

To everyone who ran, donated and cheered Team FMNC on, thank you. Diolch yn fawr iawn 💙
