Every single volunteer brings kindness, energy, and support that help create joy, connection, and a sense of community in our choirs in care homes, hospitals, and the community.

What do you enjoy about working for FMNC? 💙

It is great to work for FMNC - bringing the joy of music to so many individuals! Singing elicits such positive experiences and is so good for brain health. It helps people maintain and support their current skills and is such an uplifting and mentally stimulating activity - for each and every one of us!

Which is your favourite FMNC song? 🎶

My favourite FMNC song has got to be 'Bring Me Sunshine'. I particularly like the words 'let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above' a little reminder for us to show warmth, compassion and empathy for others.

Diolch National Lottery Good Causes for helping us to share the joy of song the Forget-me-not way in Llanelli 💙

Every week, Forget-me-not Chorus organises singing sessions for people with dementia and those who support them, in care homes, hospitals and in the community. 🎵

Their newest community choir has just launched in Llanelli, bringing the joy of shared song to people living with and alongside the condition.

The project has received funding through The National Lottery Community Fund thanks to National Lottery players, allowing families to join together through music.

As our year as a nominated charity for the Lord Mayor of Cardiff comes to a close, we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.

A very special thank you to Jayne Cowan and Adrian Robson for your unwavering support, friendship and incredible fundraising throughout the year. Your kindness, encouragement and commitment to our charity have meant more than we could ever put into words.

We’d also like to thank your amazing charity committee for all they have done: their hard work, generosity, and enthusiasm have made such a difference. It has been a privilege to work alongside you all.
