Mosaic Magic!

Our students love getting creative and our Design session offers a very popular mosaic option. From coasters to framed mosaic pictures, the ideas that come out of this session are incredible!

Elliott has created this stunning poppy design for Remembrance Day. Ellie has created a beautiful tray, and other students work so hard on creating beautiful coasters. Every piece is unique and it's lovely to watch the process come to life one little piece at a time!

Well done to all the students who work so hard, share enthusiasm and do such a fantastic job - you should be so proud!

We love seeing our students take their skills beyond The Fifth Trust and out into the local community!

Recently, our Outdoor Active students and staff have been working with St Michael’s Church in Hythe to help transform their raised garden beds, with a team effort spanning three days of hard work. From clearing the site and replanting to giving the area a fresh coat of paint, our students have played an important part in helping to revitalise this special community space.

We were delighted to receive such lovely feedback from the church. Projects like this are about so much more than gardening. They give our students the opportunity to develop practical skills, work as a team, build confidence and make a meaningful contribution to the communities around them.

A huge thank you to St Michael’s Church and everyone who helped make this project possible. It's wonderful to see what can be achieved when a community comes together!

Our Fifth Trust Media students have been getting creative with a project exploring the three main types of media: Print, Broadcasting, and Digital & New Media.

Over the past couple of months, students have been collecting newspapers and magazines, researching historic newspaper headlines online, and cutting out words and images to bring their ideas to life on a large canvas for the first piece of their project!

Students got involved in everything from researching and cutting to arranging and sticking, this has been a fantastic team effort!

We can't wait to see the other finished canvas! Well done to everyone involved!

It's pumpkin season! Our Horticulture students have grown an incredible bounty of stunning varieties and they are available now in the Vineyard Garden Centre in Barham! Every pumpkin is available for a small donation and you can find some wonderful traditional shapes as well as some quirky varieties!

This windy autumn weather is perfect for kite flying!

Our student Sam has spent months creating this incredible kite in our Art session! We think you'll agree, it's an impressive creation! Sam has now earned an AQA UAS certificate for his artistic efforts! We're so proud of Sam and all the students who work so hard and strive to achieve!
