Dr Jill Kiefer would have been 70 today. ❤️ You are much loved and deeply missed, Jill.

In loving memory of Dr Jill Alice Kiefer, who passed away on 6 April 2025. She was an influential educator, art historian, teaching artist, and a much-loved member of Warnborough College , Warnborough Foundation and Kent ArtsCon.
Jill founded the College’s Fine Arts and Art History programmes, later serving as Dean of graduate programmes in Cultural Art History, Fine Arts, and Media Studies.

Her lasting legacy was founding the Canterbury Arts Conference in 2013, which grew into today’s internationally recognised Kent Arts Conference , bringing together artists, educators, and creative professionals from around the world.

A published writer and artist, Jill inspired generations through her passion for art, education, and creative collaboration.

Today, we celebrate her life, honour her achievements, and remember the remarkable legacy she leaves behind. 🌹Dr Jill Kiefer will always be remembered.

Regular of the Warnborough Foundation will know that we do a lot of work with disadvantaged communities and individuals. One of the areas we work with is mental health. In light of World Mental Health Day this October 10th, we are asking for donations to help us continue our work. Whatever you can spare would be great.

🌟 A New Cohort of ‘All About YOU’ Has Begun!

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new ‘All About YOU’ (AAY) cohort, delivered in response to the needs identified by Canterbury DWP.

The programme recognises the value, experience and potential of mature workers, while exploring new approaches to supporting people who are looking to re-enter or progress in the workforce.

The programme officially kicked off on 16 September 2026 at Warnborough Foundation HQ and will run for six weeks. For more information visit our website: https://warnborough.foundation

💡 All About YOU helps participants to:
• Learn more about themselves, their strengths and aspirations
• Develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Build decision-making skills
• Strengthen self-esteem and confidence

It’s about taking time to reflect, discover strengths, develop skills and build confidence because there is always more to learn, create and contribute.
