Historica Canada is seeking out Canadian creatives in the film industry!

First released in 1991, the Heritage Minutes are a series of 60-second short films on significant moments and people in Canadian history. Each Minute has received a million views in the first month of launch. The short films are viewed on television, in cinemas, and online.

This two-day Inclusive Leadership in Film + TV program supports supervisors and emerging leaders committee to building respectful, equitable and high-performing workplace cultures. Participants will strengthen technical expertise, develop practical tools for inclusive leadership, and receive a Certificate of Completion.

Creative Pathways™ is accepting applications for the Setwork program for a popular television series filming in the Lower Mainland (Greater Vancouver area). Setwork is an equity-stream program.

These are paid, entry-level trainee roles that will take place from approximately mid-January to April 2026 across the following departments:
- Set Decorating
- Props
- Costumes

In 2025, Creative Pathways™ at Creative BC launched new programs and partnerships supporting workforce development across B.C.’s motion picture industry. Highlights included training initiatives with the Black Screen Office, Disability Screen Office, CAFTCAD and Elevate Inclusion Strategies, alongside the launch of our first Below-the-Line Mentorship Program and Production Assistant Training Program.
