This landmark study involved 8,880 patients and 850 general practitioners across France and remains one of the largest real-world investigations into homeopathic care ever conducted. Over the course of this research, twelve peer-reviewed publications revealed groundbreaking findings on how homeopathy influences clinical outcomes, healthcare costs, and patient well-being.
In this lecture, Dr. Merville will guide participants through the design, methodology, and key results of the EPI3 study — explaining what it tells us about the place of homeopathy within modern healthcare systems. About the Presenter: Dr. Christophe R. Merville, D. Pharm.
Christophe Merville joined Boiron in 1990. Since 2005, Dr. Merville has served as the Director of Education and Pharmacy Development at the company’s headquarters in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. In this role, Dr. Merville has created educational training programs for pharmacists and retailers on homeopathy and Boiron’s medicines. Prior to Boiron, Dr. Merville was a university hospital pharmacist in France’s Loire Valley, where he obtained three years of clinical experience.
Dr. Merville is internationally recognized for his ability to bridge the worlds of traditional pharmacy and homeopathic medicine. With over three decades of experience, he has trained thousands of healthcare professionals across North America and Europe and has been a featured guest on national health programs and conferences. His passion lies in empowering practitioners and the public to understand homeopathy’s scientific foundations and practical applications in everyday healthcare.
