Out Innerspace Dance Theatre is devoted to creating exciting and integral contemporary dance works. Through research and experimentation, OIS celebrates the importance of challenging the preconceptions of what can be expected, experienced and expounded in contemporary dance.

About Alex
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Alex Haskins began his formal training at The Ailey School and is a graduate of Frank Sinatra School of the Arts and MOVE|NYC|’s Young Professionals Program. He later attended The Juilliard School under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack and Mario Alberto Zambrano. During his time at Juilliard, Alex worked with renowned choreographers including Sonya Tayeh, Ohad Naharin, and Norbert de la Cruz III. In January 2022, Alex joined the junior company of Hofesh Shechter Company in London, England, and is now entering his fourth season with the company. He is currently touring Theater of Dreams. Alex is also a National YoungArts Silver Winner in Modern/Contemporary Dance and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts Semifinalist.

A week-long intensive for emerging and aspiring dance artists looking to maintain, deepen, and evolve their practice between training seasons or post-graduation!

Each day begins with a ballet class led by Patrick Howell, followed by afternoon sessions with Aishwarya Raut (former Rambert Dance Company, Akram Khan Company, currently GöteborgsOperans Danskompani).

Born in Kazakhstan, raised in Belgium, and now based in the Netherlands, Adam’s journey spans street styles (hip hop, house, breaking) to contemporary dance. A graduate of the Amsterdam University for the Arts, he danced with Hofesh Shechter Company for 5 years and has worked with choreographers like Club Guy & Roni, Ivan Perez, Maxine Doyle, Yoann Bourgeois, Out Innerspace + more!

Out Innerspace is seeking an experienced female/non-binary dancer for their upcoming Spring 2026 performances of their recent full-length work Rhino directed by Artistic Directors Tiffany Tregarthen & David Raymond.

About the Opportunity:
* Contract will take place March 2026 (4-5 weeks with potential for continued engagement)
* Rehearsals will be held in Vancouver, BC, with performances in Europe

Seeking dancers who:
* Have at least 2 years of professional experience, and age 22 or older
* Possess high level contemporary technique & partnering skills
* Bring strong improvisation and theatrical skills
* Are self-directed, collaborative and generous team players
