Still riding the high from Sustainalicious 2026 🌿

Toronto’s plant-based community came together during Climate Week and the impact was real: nearly a tonne of GHGs avoided and over 3.7 million litres of water saved. Meal by meal, restaurant by restaurant.

Hawker was one of the spots making it happen, and Chef Leah Steduto’s cabbage rolls with mushroom and wild rice filling is exactly the kind of dish that makes going plant-based feel like zero sacrifice. Full recipe for this Meat-free Maintstay is at the link in our bio.

Have you heard about Sustainalicious?! A few of our Partners in Veg restaurants are taking part in the inaugural edition which runs now until June 14th.

Hosted by and , Sustainalicious is a city-wide dining event that puts climate-smart food front and centre. Collaborators include our own Partner in Veg, @ #, and the wonderful Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank. Participating restaurants are each featuring a special Sustainalicious dish, designed to be the most delicious thing on their menu, and the most planet-friendly.
