Canadians care about global health and want Canada to lead. With your support, we can make sure Parliament hears this message loud and clear.

Recent cuts to global health funding by the United States, Canada and other funders are devastating HIV and human rights programs worldwide — yet this crisis isn't getting the attention it deserves.

Our postcard campaign is changing that. Together, we’re sending a clear message: Canada must lead on global health.

Hope Tariro Trust (HTT) supports communities across Zimbabwe. This SLF partner connects HIV and tuberculosis (TB) testing and treatment with food and nutrition. Home visits, youth programs and support for grandmothers raising children — HTT helps strengthen families with health, stability and self-determination.

In Zimbabwe, TB is a leading cause of illness and death. Over half of TB patients are also living with HIV. Malnutrition further worsens health outcomes.

Beginning with a single program in 2008, HTT now reaches over 10,000 people. Support community-led organizations. They are a powerful part of the global response.

At the Stephen Lewis Foundation, our funding is rooted in anti-colonial and feminist principles.

We partner with community-led organizations (CLOs), respecting their autonomy, expertise and leadership in the response.

We provide flexible funding, build strong partnerships, and support efforts that advance racial justice, gender equity, and LGBTIQ rights.

We currently partner with 98 community-led organizations across 14 countries in Africa. Their leadership and expertise strengthen the broader community-led response that is essential to ending the HIV epidemic.
