Our Toronto Family Picnic was a blast! We had so much fun connecting with families, getting creative with arts and crafts, making s’mores and enjoying an incredible bubble experience from Fantasy Bubble Show!

A huge thank you to Uncle Pete’s Bread Co. for supporting this community event by generously donating the catering. The sandwiches were delicious and definitely a hit!

We loved spending the day together and can’t wait for the next one!

Today, we wear orange as we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities.

At Campfire Circle, we recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility. We are committed to listening, learning, and reflecting on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools. Our team has taken part in learning sessions focused on Indigenous history, and we are committed to building a community rooted in respect, belonging, and inclusion – today and every day.

We’re so proud to partner with the incredible team at SickKids, bringing the joy, connection, and community of Campfire Circle to kids and families right where they need it most. We decided to strike some celebratory poses to let them know they’re awesome! How did we do?

R4//Campfire Circle 2026 is officially complete!

Another amazing journey from Toronto to Québec City is in the books. We rode over 960 kms and raised $1.45 million — that's 580 weeks of camp for kids with serious illness and their families.

Today marks a historic moment for Campfire Circle.

The Government of Canada announced an incredible $27 million investment in Campfire Circle to support the development of our new medical camp in Prince Edward County and help fuel our bold vision to serve 10,000 kids annually by 2030.

The official announcement was made on Parliament Hill in Ottawa by Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State for Sport, alongside Chris Malette, MP Bay of Quinte, Dr. Danielle Martin, MP for University–Rosedale, the R4//Campfire Circle cycling team, and camper families.

We are deeply grateful to the Government of Canada for believing in the power of camp and recognizing the extraordinary impact we have on kids with cancer or serious illness and their families across Ontario.

This investment is a major catalyst for what comes next – building on the extraordinary generosity of our donors, supporters, and our dedicated community.

Together, we’re building a future where more kids and families can experience the connection, joy, and belonging of camp, both today and for generations to come.

And they’re off!
Today, we cheered on our R4//Campfire Circle riders as they set out from Toronto to cycle almost 1,000 kilometres to Québec City.

Our 50 riders are cycling for kids with cancer or serious illness – and they’re already making a huge impact. Together, they’ve raised $1.2 million and counting to support Campfire Circle’s free year-programs for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families.

But there’s still more road ahead – and more to raise.
