A few dollars may not seem like much, but together, those contributions can add up to meaningful change.

Last year, with the support of LCBO, Ontarians came together to raise $2.6 million, helping provide 6 million meals for Canadians.

That’s what happens when a community comes together. And it shows that no donation is too small when we all do our part.

From September 24 to October 11, we’re coming together again to support food security across Ontario.

We can’t wait to see what we can do together this year.

We had an incredible time connecting with food lovers, sharing our mission and bringing a little extra fun to the festivities.

From temporary tattoos and custom newspaper photo keepsakes to conversations about food rescue and our Fall 50/50 Lottery, it was inspiring to meet so many people who believe in a future with No Waste. No Hunger. 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, snapped a photo, got a tattoo, entered the 50/50 and learned more about how food rescue creates impact across Canada.

Veronica, a Second Harvest team member, shared this simple Banana Loaf Cake as a healthier breakfast option for her daughter. Now it's a family favourite and a delicious way to use up overripe bananas that might otherwise go to waste.

Made with just a few ingredients, it comes together in one bowl in about 10 minutes, with no refined sugar needed. 💚
