Etobicoke Rotary provided $5,000 to Youth Without Shelter (YWS).

The funds will go to support 25 students that are in the "Stay In School Program" for youths ages 16 to 24.

The program provides:
-food to youth onsite, including three meals and snacks
-personal supplies that include clothing and hygiene products
-specialist supplies for vocational/trades training
-monthly transit pass.

Rotary Etobicoke has consistently supported YWS for many years.

On Saturday, June 6 Rotary Club of Etobicoke along with family members provided a volunteer team to support assemble and pack 576 individual emergency kits!

We always enjoy this opportunity to make a difference by sorting and packing essential Canadian aid to be shipped around the world to areas facing hardship and disasters.

Thanks to our experienced Rotarian members who come out to support Global Medic 4 times a year and a special thanks to all our youth team members who were very much part of making this a successful international project.
