Congratulations to our newest Cybersecurity Connections graduates! 🎓

To celebrate, Interac Corp. welcomed the cohort to its Toronto office for a morning of Speed Mentoring® and mock interviews. Interac employees helped our graduates build confidence, grow their networks, and prepare for the next step in their careers.

Cybersecurity Connections helps internationally trained IT professionals start their careers in Canada's cybersecurity sector. Over eight weeks, participants build skills through online cybersecurity modules, learn how the industry works in Canada, and connect with employers through mentoring, networking events and job referrals, with one-to-one support from an Employment Consultant.

Thank you, Interac Corp, for your continued partnership. Over the past five years, more than 20 ACCES clients have gone on to build careers at Interac.

The program is supported by the TD Ready Commitment and delivered in partnership with IBM and Interac.

A World of Difference is made through people, partnerships and opportunity.

We brought together employer partners, funders, sponsors, community partners, alumni, volunteers and friends of ACCES who share a commitment to creating more accessible pathways to employment.

A highlight of the evening was hearing directly from ACCES alumni and employer partners about what can happen when talent is recognized, people have access to the right connections and support, and employers help open doors to opportunity.

Thank you to our moderator Hirji and our speakers Ihedioha, Puri, Yu, Pavliuk, Ssenyange and Mahopa Mbanha for sharing their experiences and perspectives.

Jonah and Hugues shared how Career Launch Pad helped them build confidence, navigate their job search and better communicate the value they bring to employers. Taras shared how resume and interview preparation, along with access to employers, supported his path to a role .

Through our three-year World of Difference fundraising campaign, we are working toward a $1.5 million goal to help sustain and develop specialized employment programs and respond to emerging workforce needs.
