A big thank you to TD volunteers for supporting another impactful delivery of the Empowering Women program. This cohort brought together 25 newcomer women in FinTech for learning, mentoring, networking and practical career support as they reconnect with their professional paths in Canada.

Now celebrating 10 years, Empowering Women has supported more than 700 newcomer women through learning and connection.

Participants met with more than 70 TD volunteers who shared career insights, supported elevator pitch practice, provided feedback through mock interviews and took part in Speed Mentoring® sessions.

As one participant shared:

“Thank you to the entire TD team for organizing such a thoughtful and inclusive event. For many of us navigating the challenges of being new to the country, this program brought much-needed clarity and hope. It’s inspiring to see TD’s genuine commitment to helping immigrants feel welcomed, and I’m truly grateful to have been part of it.”

Thank you to TD and all of the volunteers who continue to create space for newcomer women to build confidence, strengthen their networks and move forward in their careers.
