YALI (Young Ambassadors Leadership Initiative) is bringing conversation to our community at PRUDE Inc. this October!

Table Topics: In Your Neighbourhood

Table Topic is a youth engagement initiative by Apathy is Boring, and YALI is bringing the conversation to our community. This session will create a relaxed space for young people ages 15-30 to connect, exchange perspectives, and talk about the communities they want to see and be part of.

Sometimes, during a day of school work, frustration can set it if you're just not connecting with the work. To alleviate this frustration, our C.A.E.C. Instructor, Carla, will break out everyone's artistic talents.

Here you will see some of the unique clay work and painting done by the students, and let's not forget our staff member.

This February, the John Howard Society of New Brunswick, Fundy Region Inc. is proud to recognize Black History Month in New Brunswick. We honor the rich history, resilience, and enduring contributions of Black New Brunswickers, past and present, who have shaped our province's culture, society, and economy. As we celebrate, we also commit to learning, listening and taking action against systemic inequalities to build a more inclusive community.

Although we have made efforts to be as inclusive as possible over the years, in 2025 we adopted a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement.

Creating an effective, just, and humane response to confronting crime requires a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. We are committed to building an organization that provides a respectful and equitable environment for all.

Thank you, everyone! Our 2025 Christmas Giving was a great success!

Here at the John Howard Society of New Brunswick, Fundy Region Inc. we like to make our most vulnerable members of our community feel included and welcome. One way of doing this is to let them know we are thinking of them during the holidays with our Christmas Giving backpacks. The contributions by our Board of Directors and our staff make this possible.

Thanks to Jill, the Manager at Giant Tiger in the Prince Edward Square Mall, we were able to include soft, warm throws in our backpacks this year. They donated 20 throws as seen in the photo. I am not sure about you, but I love to wrap up in a throw and just relax at the end of the day. Thank you, Jill!

Also posted is a photo of our staff contribution at our annual Kids' Christmas Party. This year their donations went to both to our backpacks and to our pantry which is accessed by our most vulnerable members of our community throughout the year.

Thank you to each and every person who contributed to making our most vulnerable members of our community feel included.
