June 20 marks World Refugee Day, a day to honor the strength and resilience of refugees around the world. This year, the Saint John Newcomers Centre, YMCA Newcomer Connections, PRUDE Inc., Le CAFi de Saint-Jean, and ConnexionWorks are joining forces to host a special “Walk with Refugees” event in Saint John.

On June 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM, we invite you to gather at King Square and walk with us to City Hall. Together, we will raise awareness about the global refugee crisis and celebrate the remarkable journeys and contributions of refugees in our community.

Let’s come together in solidarity to show our support and appreciation for those who have overcome immense challenges to build new lives. Join us as we walk, learn, and stand united in our commitment to creating a more inclusive and welcoming world for all.

🦋✨ Monarch Butterflies with Jim Wilson ✨🦋We had a wonderful morning at today’s Future Engage session at Rothesay Hive, where we explored the fascinating world of monarch butterflies! Jim Wilson shared his extensive knowledge about their life cycle and incredible migration patterns. We also discussed the declining monarch population and ways we can help, including participating in tagging programs and planting milkweed.

It is always a pleasure to welcome Jim to the Hive. Thank you for another informative and engaging presentation!
