Today marks an exciting new chapter for the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation as we proudly launch our 2026–2031 Strategic Plan, guided by one bold ambition:

Great care, close to home. No exceptions.

Because the future of health care isn’t just about what happens inside hospital walls. It’s about building healthier communities, reaching people sooner, advancing exceptional care and ensuring patients and families have access to the support they need, when and where they need it.

Our plan focuses on two powerful goals: transforming hospital care and expanding care into our communities. Together, they represent a new vision for how we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the people we serve.

And we can’t do it alone.

For decades, the generosity of our donors, partners and community has helped make extraordinary things possible. Now, we’re looking ahead to what’s next, with bigger ambitions, new opportunities and an unwavering commitment to making every gift count.

$88,934. Our biggest Fundy Trail Cancer Walk ever. 💙

Thanks to this incredible community, the 27th Annual Fundy Trail Cancer Walk raised a record-breaking $88,934 for the Dr. Margot Burnell Cancer Support Program!

But this day was about so much more than a number.

It was about survivors celebrating how far they’ve come. Families walking beside someone they love. Friends honouring someone deeply missed. And patients and families sharing their stories and reminding us why this Walk matters so much.

To every participant, donor, fundraiser, volunteer, sponsor and community partner who made this possible: thank you. And to every survivor, patient and family member who trusted us with their story, thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you.

Every dollar raised will help local cancer patients and their families access free programs and services through the Dr. Margot Burnell Cancer Support Program.

In honour of World Heart Day, we’re celebrating our biggest walk and our biggest impact yet. ❤️

What an incredible day for stronger hearts!

The 26th Annual Saint John Cardiac Rehab Walk was officially our biggest yet, with more participants coming together and more funds raised than ever before.

Together, our community raised an incredible $45,345.25 for the Cardiac Health and Wellness Program at the New Brunswick Heart Centre!

These funds will help strengthen Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the Heart Function Clinic, supporting patients as they regain strength, manage heart conditions and get back to the people and moments that matter most.

To every walker, fundraiser, donor, volunteer and supporter who made this record-breaking year possible: thank you.
