Our newcomer clients explored one of Saint John's most iconic cultural landmarks, the Imperial Theatre, as part of our Information and Orientation sessions!

From its stunning architecture to the stories and performances that have shaped its legacy, the guided tour offered a wonderful glimpse into the city's rich arts and cultural heritage.

A memorable experience of discovering local history, exploring new places, and connecting with our community! 💚

Building stronger communities starts with working together! 💚

Our YMCA Newcomer and Community Connections team attended the 2026 Pathways to Belonging: Saint John Immigration Sector Summit, joining settlement partners, front-line staff, and key community organizations dedicated to supporting newcomers across our region.

The second annual summit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and explore new ways to help newcomers feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

Thank you to the Saint John Local Immigration Partnership (SJLIP) and Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency for organizing this opportunity to learn, connect, and move forward together.
