SILENT AUCTION FEATURE

We’re thrilled to feature this beautiful original oil painting, “Fall Leaves,” by Win Keenan-Kuplowsky, generously donated in support of the Enchanted Hope Gala.

“Fall Leaves” was inspired by an early morning drive along Islington Avenue and the Humber River. While searching for inspiration, Win travelled through Kleinburg to Cedarvalley Crescent, where a clearing of marsh grasses, sedges and cattails revealed a vibrant row of autumn trees.

The scene brought to mind the work of renowned Canadian artists Franklin Carmichael, Lawren Harris and J.E.H. MacDonald. As the morning breeze moved through the landscape, a cascade of leaves danced to the ground — a fleeting autumn moment beautifully captured on panel. 🍁

Our dream is to place an Enchanted Hope Bookshelf in all 14 pediatric hospitals across Ontario, stocked with our books and plushies so that children can choose something for themselves right when they need it — without having to wait for it to be mailed or requested.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Behind every statistic is a child.
A child with a favourite colour.
A child who loves to laugh, play, dream and imagine.
A child who has a family that would do absolutely anything to take their pain away.

This is my daughter Alice.

Alice was just 10 months old when cancer became part of her story. And while cancer has changed things we never imagined it would, it will never be the thing that defines her.

Her journey is the reason Enchanted Hope Foundation exists.

What started with my own daughter’s diagnosis became a mission to bring magic, comfort and a little bit of childhood back to children facing serious illness.

Alice is our inspiration

Through our books, plushies and activity gifts, we are creating moments of joy for children and families during some of the hardest days of their lives.

And now, we have an even bigger dream:

An Enchanted Hope Bookshelf in all 14 pediatric hospitals across Ontario — filled with books and plushies that children can choose for themselves, completely free.

Because a child in the hospital should still get to choose a story.
Still get to imagine.
Still get to be a kid.

This month, we’re going to share more stories, more facts, more hope — and more of the children behind the mission.
