Kerry’s Place is Canada’s largest service provider to Autistic kids, teens, adults & their families. WELCOME TO KERRY’S PLACE AUTISM SERVICES.

We help Autistic people participate fully in their communities. Serving Toronto, Central & East regions of Ontario & beyond. We are Canada’s largest service provider to families with children, adolescents, and adults, with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since 1974 Kerry’s Place has been creating, and providing evidence-based supports and services across the province of Ontario that enhance the quality of life of those with ASD. TODAY, WE ARE ENVISIONING A FUTURE WHERE ALL PERSONS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER ARE PARTICIPATING FULLY IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. With staff of more than 1200, Kerry’s Place is one of the only organizations in the country that serves the entire life span of those with ASD.

Visual supports can help children understand what comes next, communicate their choices and participate with greater confidence. 💡

For Autistic children in early learning settings, meaningful visual supports provide information they can return to while processing a message, preparing for a transition or learning a new skill. Supporting choice and independence can also strengthen self-esteem and a sense of belonging.

As Canadian Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, our commitment to Autism awareness and acceptance continues every day, all year. 💙

At Kerry’s Place, we’re celebrating the members of our Autism Advisory Committee (AAC), whose experiences and recommendations help guide person-directed community supports and services.

Earlier this month, the committee hosted the Fall into Autism Awareness event, featuring an "Ask Me Anything" booth.
Meet the voices helping shape our work:

✨ Autism Advisory Committee: Niko, Patrick, Jenna, Bonnie, Andrew, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Cristina, William and Michael.

The AAC provides advice and input to Kerry’s Place and serves as a resource for management. By sharing lived experiences, members help identify support needs, champion choice and work to break down barriers and stigma.

Thank you to our committee members for sharing your perspectives and recommendations. Awareness is an ongoing commitment and acceptance means listening to Autistic voices, respecting choices and putting inclusion into practice throughout the year.

Building healthy habits starts with learning what supports our well-being! 🍎

From making healthy food choices to developing personal care routines, understanding sleep and managing stress, healthy habits play an important role in everyday life.

Our Healthy Habits ABA group gives Autistic teens ages 13 to 17 opportunities to explore these important areas of personal health and wellness through 10 weekly virtual sessions.

Overseen by a Registered Behavioral Analyst, this small group program provides a supportive environment for learning about healthy habits.

Our new 12-week Employment Essentials program offers Autistic adults (18+) hands-on learning and job-sampling opportunities in a supportive environment tailored to their strengths, interests and goals.

Kitchen and food preparation skills
Customer service and workplace communication
Supported travel and transit training

Our ABA Winter Camp offers Autistic children and youth three days of engaging group activities, with opportunities to develop meaningful social skills while having fun!

💙 Adam McEachern raised an incredible $21,691 for Kerry's Place Autism Services on the Autism Heroes Roadtrip!

Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome Adam to our head office to recognize this remarkable achievement!

Back in May, Adam took an 18-day journey, running and cycling over 1,000 km through twenty towns from Windsor to Ottawa to raise awareness and funds in support of Autistic individuals and families across Ontario.

A heartfelt thank you to Adam, his family, his logistics team, and everyone who donated, cheered him on, and supported this remarkable journey. Your generosity helps support programs and services for Autistic children, youth, adults, and families.
