Dress Purple Day is an opportunity to come together in support of children, youth, and families, and to raise awareness about the importance of safe, caring communities.

By wearing purple, we help spread the message that no one is alone and that resources and services are available for those who need support.

We invite you to join us! Wear purple on October 29, encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to participate, and help remind children, youth, and families that support is always within reach. 💜

Danke schön to everyone who celebrated with us on Main Street last Saturday! 🥨

Oktoberfest Newmarket filled the street with music, great food and community spirit on October 3, and we are so grateful Cedar Centre was part of it. 🎶

A huge thank you to event host Juliana Playter for putting together such a fun day and for choosing to support Cedar Centre.

Thank you to Market Brewing Company, the official brewing sponsor, and to all of the restaurants, venues and supporters who welcomed guests throughout this wonderful event.

And thank you to everyone who picked up a passport, entered the 50/50 draws, bid on silent auction items and came dressed for the occasion. Your support helps Cedar Centre provide therapy and support to children, youth, and adults healing from childhood trauma across York Region. 🎉

Thank you, Newmarket! 💛💙🧡

Together, we raised nearly $40,000 for Cedar Centre at this year's Ride for Refuge on Saturday, October 3. That is a record for our event!!

46 walkers and 9 teams came out to Fairy Lake Park to walk, fundraise and cheer each other on. Every step and every dollar helps children, youth and adults across York Region heal from the impacts of childhood trauma.
