👏🌱 Applause for our amazing community partners!

York Region Food Network (YRFN) is proud to partner with the York Region District School Board to bring students from Dr. J.M. Denison Secondary School to our London and Main Community Garden in Newmarket!

Through hands-on gardening, students get the opportunity to connect with nature, learn about growing food, and discover the importance of sustainable food systems and community food security. 🌿🥕

A big thank you to the students, educators, and our partners for helping our community grow one garden bed at a time! 💚

🌱 Thankful Thursday! 🌱

Today, we’re giving a big THANK YOU to the amazing interns from QuadReal for volunteering their time at YRFN’s Assembly Park Community Garden last month! 💚

Your hard work, enthusiasm, and helping hands made a real difference in keeping our community garden growing and thriving. From getting your hands in the soil to helping care for our garden spaces, we truly appreciate everything you did!

We’re grateful for community-minded partners like you who help us grow more than just vegetables — you help us grow stronger communities! 🌻🥕🌿

Thank you, QuadReal interns! 💚
